The Otis Instruments WireFree OI-6940 Non-Explosion Proof AC-powered ambient air multi-gas detector simultaneously uses up to 4 sensor elements to detect an array of toxic gases. The OI-6940 features non-intrusive configuration and calibration and continuously monitors the gas level of the surrounding environment.

The OI-6940 reports once a minute however, the reporting rate will increase to once every five seconds when the detected gas is above the Background Gas Set-Point. This set-point is adjustable to account for sites that may have a constant low level of gas always present. The display screen always shows the present gas concentration being detected. The OI-6940-NXP operates from an AC power supply with an internal backup battery pack.
