The OI-6900 Explosion Proof Series by Otis Instruments is a wireless, dual battery-powered gas detection system designed to enhance safety in hazardous environments. Equipped with Electrochemical, PID, or Low-Power Infrared sensors, this versatile device detects a wide range of toxic or combustible gases.

Features

    • Power Source: Dual non-rechargeable 3.6V Lithium-Thionyl Chloride batteries providing up to 2 years of life for electrochemical sensors and up to 1 year or 6 months for infrared variants.
    • Sensor Types: Electrochemical, PID, or low-power infrared elements measuring gases like O2, LEL, H2S, CO, and more.
    • Wireless Radios: GEN II 900 MHz (52 networks) or 2.4 GHz (78 networks) options.
    • Safety Certifications: Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C, and D explosion-proof ratings.
    • Dynamic Reporting: Normal 1-minute updates scale to every 5 seconds if gas exceeds setpoints
